This is some research carried out by Sally Varlow that suggests that
Catherine Carey, daughter of Mary Boleyn (who was the sister of Anne),
actually was the daughter of Henry VIII. It's frankly
fascinating! It includes a transcription of Francis Knollys
(Catherine's husband-to-be) record of their FOURTEEN - yes, folks,
FOURTEEN - children, and even if you're not remotely interested in that
era, it's worth a look just for the spelling of ye olde Tudor words.
Anyone who's read The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory will know
what I'm rabbiting on about.
